I feel like I have been all over the map when it comes to creating lately. If there is not a yarn and needle in my hand, there is paper and glue gun. I've even gathered some items to do an embroidery project I have in mind! Let's just cross our fingers that I still have my mojo come September when the kids are back in school and I have more time.
On the card above I combined two of my favorite mediums (yarn and paper), and used a crochet heart to compliment this great Dear Lizzy paper line by American Crafts.

I used the same papers on my next card too. I made my own tag by just cutting a rectangle to the size I wanted, trimming the corners, adding a small pink circle to the top and then punching a hole to thread my twine through.
I embellished the tag with a multi-butterfly Art Bit. The colour is a little off in the picture I find... the two punched butterflies are actually the same colours as found in the embellishment!

For my third card, I changed gears a little bit and created something a little more 'guy-ish'.
The papers are all a mix of scraps I had.. Recollections, MME. The embellishments are from the Mustache & Rainbows Art Bit collection, and the alphas are from Pink Paislee.

I've also spent quite a bit of time working in the shop lately on product photos. I'm experimenting with different backgrounds, light sources etc. to try and find what works best. Please feel free to offer any feedback!
Tomorrow I'm off on another summer road trip with the kiddo's... it's just for the day, but we have a lot packed in and I'm really looking forward to it!
