Note Pads & Beanie Hats

Is it really only Tuesday?  There has been so much thrown at me in the last few days, it feels as though a week has gone by already!  Time for a moment of calm please! 

Okay... moving on to some creative goodness... I have a few new notepads to share with you, and they are now available in my shop too.

I used the Art Freckles small crochet doilies as embellishments, along with some other bits and pieces from my stash.

I LOVE these grocery-list style notepads.  They are perfect for tossing in my purse, or I've also added a magnet to the back of them in the past, and stuck them on the fridge.

The brown crochet flowers are also available in my shop, if your interested in making your own notepads.  They come with pink doilies or cream.

And speaking of crochet, I have started reading patterns!!  Real honest to goodness crochet patterns!  I was very timid at first, (she of little faith), but I really surprised myself.   

I've known how to make things like dish cloths and scarves for quite some time, but those are easy to just make up as you go, assuming you know basics.  However, half a dozen beanie hats later, I'm really becoming addicted to this craft!
