I am without a doubt one of those people who love to organize, and re-organize my home. My favorite room to do this to in particular, is my crafting studio. Which means....
magazines like the new Creative Spaces are really exciting to me! I couldn't wait to get my hands on this issue, and it didn't take me long to try out some of the ideas shared among the page,s in my own studio.
I had actually come across the the spray painted candlesticks with misc. sized jars before, but seeing again gave me the extra 'push' to finally get at it. (I had all the supplies, just hadn't actually done it!)
I decided to for-go the decorative knobs, and used some Tim Holtz faucet knobs insteads.. don't they look neat?? One of the candlesticks is wooden, and the is other glass. I really like the mix-match look.
And how about my pink cheese grater? I thought this was fantastic! What a great way to organize my odds and ends of deco pins. I have little splashes of pink here and there in my room, so that is the colour that worked for me, but really, there is such a huge selection of spray paint out there to choose from.

I have plenty of jars, but I think perhaps I should find one more medium sized candle stick holder.. what do you think?
Krylon is the brand that I used, it covered all three surfaces perfectly (wood, glass, metal). I should mention that I did use one coat of primer on the glass and metal (also Krylon).
The same day I did this, I also recovered an office chair and added scrabble tiles to my paper shelves.. organizing can be addictive!

Looks Cool Shannon!
